The Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation recently organized its Act to Impact Employee Giving campaign. This initiative was implemented to enable Bank employees to give back to the communities the Bank serves. Employees were divided into 21 teams spread across different departments and branches, with each team awarding a $1,500 grant to a nonprofit that helps the community in one of the following categories: basic human needs, emergency response crisis, health and social services, food security and housing. The Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation was established in 1997 to distribute funds each year to local organizations to help improve the quality of life in the local community.
