The Mendocino County Savings Bank is ready to begin the transformation of its main banking center Ukiah, 200 N. School St. On Monday, February 7, the renovation of the first floor lobby began. Opening hours will remain unchanged during the renovation, which is expected to continue until July 1.
Because the lobby’s footprint will be reduced during construction, some customers may want an alternate location to do their banking during this time, such as nearby Caisse d’Épargne banking centers, which include 1100 Airport Park Blvd. , Ukiah, 13411 South Highway 101, Hopland and 8431 East Road, Redwood Valley. Caisse d’Epargne also offers the convenience of an ATM and ATMs, Walk-In ATM, Night Deposit, Online Banking, and Mobile Banking. ATMs are available Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday until 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. ATMs are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
This will be the fourth Caisse d’Epargne site to be redeveloped. As with other sites, the new lobby will feature the removal of physical barriers between staff and their customers, creating a comfortable and more efficient space for doing business. Additionally, routine operational processes are being moved to the back office to support an improved customer service experience.
“Our main Ukiah banking center is at the heart of our main Ukiah office and we are delighted with the positive changes the renovation will bring,” said Denise Roumbanis, Chief Operating Officer of Caisse d’Epargne. “I think our customers will find the new space more comfortable and have easier access to the services we provide.”
In a press release announcing the renovation plans, the bank said, “The Mendocino County Savings Bank is the only local chartered bank and a strong independent financial institution providing Mendocino and Lake Counties with the reliability from a local community bank.”
