MASSOB begs the UN General Assembly to liberate Biafra, welcomes Uwazurike for

Ralph The Uwazurike-led Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) called on Nations and Unrepresented Popular Organizations (UNPO) to lobby the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and other Western nations to grant sovereign status to Biafra.
The UNGA opens its doors on September 14 in New York, United States.
The president of the internal government of Biafra (BIG), Amadi Ifeanyi, in a statement by his senior special assistant on media and advertising, Chris Mocha, on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of MASSOB, said that recognition of a sovereign state of Biafra would end the frequent waste of human lives in Nigeria and to the marginalization of the people of the former Eastern region.
Amadi praised the founder and leader of the Biafra Independence Movement (BIM) and MASSOB, Ralph Uwazuruike, for leading the movement’s affairs over the past 22 years through a non-violent method without changing tactics.
He congratulated Uwazuruike for pursuing the path of peace in the struggle for the independence of Biafra by remaining resolute, coherent and focused for 22 solid years, a legacy which he said was the best sacrifice offered by Uwazuruike to the inhabitants. of the geopolitical zone of South-East and South-South. of the country without calling for war.
On January 1, 2020, Uwazuruike inaugurated a parliamentary system as the MASSOB-BIM forms of government, led by the President, Prime Minister, Speaker of Parliament, Chief Justice and Ministers.

Ifeanyi also described Uwazuruike’s efforts as a hero of New Biafra while recalling how Uwazuruike assured lawmakers in the South East in 2001 that MASSOB had embraced non-violence to guide its struggle to avoid compromising the huge investments of Ndigbo outside Igbo lands and prevent loss of lives.
