FAIRFIELD – Jefferson County Health Center and Libertyville Savings Bank have been named among the best places to work in Iowa by The Des Moines Register.

Bryan Hunger, CEO of JCHC, said in a press release that just as the health center provides quality care to its patients, it strives to be a quality employer for the nearly 400 people who work there. working.
“Being named a Top Workplace is a visible reflection of our efforts to maintain an inclusive and positive environment for our people where people can look forward to coming to work every day,” Hunger said.
Top Workplace winners are determined solely from employee feedback provided through an engagement survey. JCHC employees responded anonymously to the survey in April, and employers who score highest on 15 unique criteria are named Top Workplaces.
“This award shows that our employees are very committed to the work they do and the care they provide,” said Jacque Bookin-Nosbisch, chief nursing officer at JCHC. “This leads to better outcomes for our patients.”
JCHC has already been selected as Top Workplace in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2021.
Energage, a third-party source, conducts the anonymous employee survey, which measures 15 cultural factors that are “critical to the success of any organization.”
“Winning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” read a statement from Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage. “It’s something we can be proud of. In today’s market, leaders need to ensure they allow employees to speak up and be heard. It’s primordial. Top Workplaces does it, and it pays dividends.
