Commission holds budget hearings, council discusses child care centers
The Barton County Commission and Great Bend City Council both meet on Monday and both schedule virtual meetings due to COVID-19 public gathering restrictions.
The commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The meeting will be open to the public but will also be broadcast live due to COVID-19.
It will be broadcast via Microsoft Teams. Citizens can view the meeting through their own connection or by logging in anonymously.

The agenda includes an appointment to the Memorial Parks Advisory Committee, an update on COVID-19 from Director of Health Karen Winkelman, and budget meetings with a host of county offices.
