Charlottesville Minister Launches Campaign for 5th District Congressional Seat

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WFXR) – An ordained Charlottesville minister and small business owner has announced his campaign for Virginia’s 5th Congressional District.
Josh Throneburg is a Democrat who grew up in a rural farming community.
He and his wife Minhee live in Charlottesville with their daughters Lucy and Agnes.
“I run because now is the time to work hard and lead with the values of compassion and common sense. While other politicians focus on selfish ambitions, I believe we can do better for our families and I am determined to fight for a better future by tackling the climate crisis, revitalizing and reinvesting in our little ones. cities, and dismantling and reforming systems of oppression. . “
